I have been working with the 700R4, 4L60, and 4L60E from the first year each was introduced by GM. If you’re like me you must be getting tired of that sloppy 1-2 shift, not to mention a 2-3 shift that takes 2-3 seconds to complete, and the all around poor reliability. All of my rebuilds start with a modified valve body, separator plate, and shift accumulators. This gives you nice solid shifts under a light throttle, and an aggressive shift under full throttle.
